Hey new friends! I’m Temika!
I’m a PNW wedding and documentary style photographer living in the greater Seattle area with my husband, Kyle. If I’m not shooting or editing you can catch me antiquing, cooking, drinking coffee or hanging out with friends.
I have loved photography since I was a kid and have always seen it as a way to tell timeless stories.
I have been documenting people’s love stories for 8 years and it’s something I have felt called to do my entire life. My journey truly began as an 18 year old trying to figure things out.
In 2019, I was blessed to have Jay & Antwane from the team photograph my special day. The love and passion they poured into their work, really showed me a new standard for photographing weddings from the client experience side. This sparked a fire to do what they did for me, for others.
I am so thankful for this career path that God has blessed me with and has given me faith to walk through season after season. He has blessed me with so many amazing clients that have all become friends. I hope that can be us soon! I can’t wait to work with you!

A little backstory…
Life N Light has photographed weddings “on the side” over the last decade.
However, we were getting too much work that we couldn’t take it on alone.
So we built and equipped a team.
Fast forward, we could not be more proud to have Temika take over this section of our business. Her love and tenderness she pours into each session is unmatched.
We are so excited to watch and work along side her as she takes this into the next era.
